Maremma Sheepdog Puppies

Our best farmhands are our beloved Maremma’s!  
 

We do not have any puppies in process at the moment but will update here when we have a litter on the way!
 

Maremma Sheepdogs are originally from Central Italy where they were bred specifically to protect sheep from wolves. They are known for being lovable family dogs, yet firece towards threats.

Maremma's look like their Pyranees European cousins which are a great breed.  A key distinction however, is they are bred for a perimeter guardian dog while Maremma's are bred to be attached to the herd they protect.   Maremma's are also better suited to hotter climates as they have a thinner coat of hair.
